The power of the XB-508 electric bicycle comes from a large rear hub 550 watt brushless motor (installed in the center of the rear wheel) that is powered by four large 14 amp batteries (instead of 12 amp batteries like the XB-500) which will last three years or more and can be recharged more than 500 times. The electric bicycle will travel 20-25 miles on a single charge.
Like the XB-500, the XB-508 is classified as an electric bicycle so you do not need to register it or carry a driver's license to operate it. But because the pedals are optional, it looks and operates like an electric moped or motorcycle.
The XB-508 is loaded with nearly all of the same features you will find on our electric motorcycles, yet the XB-508 costs 75% less. The XB-508 is the ultimate choice for commuters, students, and those looking for an inexpensive and convenient way to get around town.
